How much does it cost to advertise my placements?
Care providerIf you choose the Pay per Booking subscription, you can advertise unlimited placements for free and you only pay when you successfully secure a placement. Your fee is charged per booking and is calculated as a one-off percentage of the weekly placement cost, subject to a minimum fee. You can view the current rates by logging in and going to Account Management → Subscription → Add new plan. Some providers may prefer the Annual subscription, which can be more cost-effective and caps your costs while still allowing unlimited bookings.
Will local authorities still use their frameworks?
Care providerNot all local authorities source solely through frameworks — many placements are made off-framework. Even where a framework is in place, teams often still need to go off-framework to find the right placement quickly. PLACENTRAL™ closes the gap between framework and off-framework sourcing, ensuring you don’t miss out if you’re not on a particular framework.
One of our biggest challenges is matching. Will the platform help with this?
Care providerYes. When you create your listing, you provide detailed information about the needs your service can support. Local authorities can then compare this against the individual’s needs and select the provider with the best matching score. This means the referrals you receive are more likely to be a good fit for your service, improving outcomes and supporting you to be more compliant with your duty of care under Ofsted and CQC regulations.
How can we be sure the placements we see are still available?
Local authorityProviders must refresh their listings every 3 days for them to remain visible. When you book a placement through the platform, the system automatically updates and deducts that space from availability. Once all spaces are filled, the listing is removed - so you’ll only ever see placements that are genuinely available.
Can providers see our referrals and contact us directly if they can offer a placement?
Local authorityYes. Providers can view your referrals on the platform and respond directly if they can offer a placement. This speeds up the matching process and helps ensure the right placement is secured quickly.
I provide emergency housing to homeless families. Can I list my properties for local authorities to contact me directly?
LandlordYes. Simply upload your property listing and local authorities can contact you directly when they have families in need of emergency housing.
My properties are listed with an estate agent. Can they list them on the platform for me?
LandlordYes, provided you give your estate agent access to your account login when you sign up. Just make sure they are a trusted partner managing your listings on your behalf.
Once I register, how do I receive staffing requests from providers?
Recruitment agencyAs soon as you register, all staffing requests from providers will come directly to you. You can then review and respond to these in real time through the platform. No extra setup or effort is required.
How do the costs work?
Recruitment agencyRecruitment agencies pay either a monthly pay-as-you-go fee for unlimited staffing requests, or - if you expect high volumes throughout the year, you can choose an annual licence for unlimited requests at a capped cost.
